Overview

The Chat function can always be accessed via the left navigation bar, whether open or closed. It is used for chatting with an AI financial deal assistant.

• The chatbot is project-specific. Each project will have a unique chatbot thread. Project documents can only be accessed by the chatbot within that project folder.
• Chat is instructed to only discuss financial dealmaking topics and the project at hand. It can discuss financial topics and markets broadly, or it has access to the specific project knowledge base of private documents. The assistant will refuse to answer off-topic requests or will attempt to redirect the user to a relevant topic.

Using Chat

Asking Questions

Chat is a helpful assistant and can answer questions from source documents. Whenever possible, chat responses will be footnoted with applicable source documents. Questions may be specific, such as “who is the company CEO?”, or broad, such as “who are potential buyers” or “tell me about their international expansion.”

Summarization

Chat can be used to summarize content from a single document or across multiple documents.
