Overview

The Summary tab is for creating research summarization reports. At the moment, Summary creates a company research report based on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIMs) outlines, formats, and style. In the future, this feature may report other types of research report summaries.

During generation, the CIM document is reviewed by a “Fact Checker” agent which reviews stated claims for accuracy. It then rewrites the section, removing any hallucinations, unsupported claims, or misleading statements. All of this is done behind the scenes before the content is presented to the user.

This feature is accessible via the Summary tab in the top right of Project > Details page.

Generating CIM

Uploading Source Documents

Upload your source document to the Project > Documents tab following the direction provided in: Upload

Documents placed in any subfolder will be referenced when generating the CIM.

Running AI Job

Once an source documents have been uploaded, navigate to Project > Details and select Run

From the pop-up menu, ensure Summary (CIM) is selected and select Build.

This job type writes the first version of a Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) using source documents uploaded to the project knowledge base. The generated content is displayed on the Project > Summary tab. A docx file is also created and can be downloaded via project > Documents. This job typically takes 4–6 minutes to complete.

Note: If the Documents and Website job types are also run, these will run first to ensure the project knowledge base is up to date before generating the CIM.

Summary Tab

Sections

The CIM document includes 10 chapters each with 4–5 subchapters following typically sections found in an investment memo or offer memorandum. You may navigate between chapters using the navigational list on the left side of the main content card.
