Anytime after upload, classification, and summarization of a financial model you can download the model for further customization. Socratics primarily supports Microsoft Excel for financial model export.

You do this be finding the gray Export button near the upper right corner of the interface. Select the button to open a dropdown, then select Excel from the menu.

Reported Worksheet

The Reported worksheet contains the raw “Line Items” (Column F) which were extracted from the uploaded input documents. It also contains a Socratics-assigned category in the “Classification” column (Column C) based off a list provided in the Config worksheet. This list prevents spelling errors when aggregating line items within the Financials worksheet.

The exported workbook is formula-driven, not hardcoded values. Therefore, be mindful that the calculations, category roll-ups, data consistency checks, and forecasting in the Financials and Validation worksheets are derived from underlying data provided on the Reported worksheet.

Therefore, use caution when editing an assigned category or other data on this tab.
