It is recommended that you review line items classification prior to building a financial forecast. Once you are satisfied with line mapping, select the Forecast & Export
on the top bar
By default, there are default forecast drivers, and 5 forecast periods are added to the right side of each financial statement. The forecast Cash Flow statement is derived from the other two statements. Line items are forecasted based on Forecast Driver inputs covered in the next section.
This process typically takes less than 30 seconds.
User edits to financial model data (such as reclassified items, hidden items, changes to forecast drivers, etc) must be synced before taking effect. Unsynced revisions are batched in the upper left corner of the chat sidebar. The green badge indicates the number of unsynced revisions. Select this object to review your adjustments.
A list of all unsynced changes in the current build batch is displayed in a pop-up window. Each revision indicates the current and the updated state. Use the x
icon to remove any revisions before syncing.
When you are ready to commit the revisions to your model, select the Sync
button. The financial model will be rebuilt with the applied revisions. Processing times will vary depending on the number and nature of the revisions.
